For over 60 years, the Palomar Handweavers’ Guild has been supporting handweavers and handspinners in northern San Diego County. In partnership with the
Antique Gas & Steam Engine Museum, guild members helped construct the 4000-square-foot
Weavers' Barn on the Museum grounds and have assembled a collection of hundreds of looms, spinning wheels, and fiber-related artifacts which we actively work on and maintain.
The Palomar Handweavers’ Guild became part of AGSEM in 2015, and we are now able to combine our knowledge and skills to further our goals to preserve and
promote the crafts of handweaving and handspinning. In addition to our monthly guild meeting, AGSEM offer classes, workshops, and other opportunities to educate our
members and visitors to the Museum about these ancient arts.
Please visit us at the Weavers' Barn on any Thursday or Saturday, and we invite you to attend our next Guild meeting to learn
more about the Palomar Handweavers and the Antique Gas & Steam Engine Museum.
